Fermi si an hybrid server for High Performance Computing.
Two Intel Xeon X5690 3.46GHz, each containing 6 cores, provide the capability to sustain up to 24 parallel threads (with Intel Hyper-threading).

Each one of the four Nvidia Tesla C2070 contains 448 CUDA Cores and 6GB GDDR5 of dedicated memory and it's able to deliver equivalent supercomputing performance, compared to the latest quad-core CPUs, at 1/10th the cost and 1/20th the power consumption.
The architecture is equipped with 188 GB DDR3 of RAM memory, and up to 12 TB of disk storage.
