THE IDEA We are a group of researchers in Algebraic Geometry, particularly interested in higher dimensional Birational Geometry. After several pilgrimages in the world we found ourselves back in Italy at a reasonable distance to allow us to have a network of collaborations. Our plan is to regularly organize one-day workshops in various venues, with the main purpose of stimulating discussion and confrontation on current research topics, hoping to involve several other researchers in our project.
