Researcher (RTDb), Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Ferrara.

The branch of mathematics in which I am most interested is Algebraic Geometry, especially in:

  • the birational geometry of projective varieties;
  • Fano and log Fano varieties, Mori dream spaces, and Cox rings;
  • moduli spaces and moduli stacks of curves, stable maps, and abelian surfaces;
  • varieties of sums of powers, and identifiability criteria for tensors;
  • uniruled and rationally connected varieties;
  • Fano foliations and distributions on Fano varieties.
La géométrie est l'art de bien raisonner sur des figures mal faites.
Jules Henri Poincaré (1854 - 1912)
